This is from Brian Rotman, father of Amie and Phoebe, who are in the photo in Rachel's 'At the Irish' post.
Max, you're gone and I can't believe you won't be there next time I visit Seamus and Victoria, that you won't be laughing and horsing at the table and hovering between the park and your bedroom upstairs and some never quite revealed not altogether legal malarkey on the edge of ordered Queens Park. You were such a welcome and reliable source of trouble and rebellion. I'll always remember your grin and the delight you took in sailing near the edge to keep the boredom of the world at bay. You weren't on the planet very long but you were a special and very lovable boy while you were. I'll miss you. Brian.
