The hearse will arrive at Max's house, 93 Chevening Road, at 11.00 and will progress around Queen's Park, with mourners following behind on foot. It will arrive back at Max's house again at about 11.30. Parking nearby should be fairly easy - resident and meter parking controls don't apply on Saturday.
The hearse will then make its way to the crematorium, and may be followed by mourners in their cars. The crematorium is about 20 minutes walk from Max's house.
The funeral service will be held at 12.00 noon at the West London Crematorium in Harrow Road, Kensal Green (entrance 200 metres west of Kensal Green station). There is a car park in the crematorium grounds.
After the service there will be a gathering at Astons in Regent Street, just north of the junction of Harrow Road and Ladbroke Grove, starting from about 1.00 p.m. Astons is about 15 minutes walk from the crematorium.
Parking around Astons can be difficult. If coming from the crematorium, try turning up Wellington Road, the left turn 100 metres before the Harrow Road/Ladbroke Grove traffic lights, and parking up there somewhere - on Saturday meter and resident controls don't apply.
Don't wear black, unless you want to. The family will not be wearing black.
Flowers can be brought to the crematorium or sent, preferably by Friday afternoon, to:

In almost every year of his time at Hampstead School Max went on the School Ski Trip, which he loved and which was a helpful and informative experience, as well as being great fun. Any donations will be used to support children who would not otherwise be able to have this experience.
Please make any cheques payable to 'Hampstead School', write 'Max O'Connell Fund' on the back, and send them to Co-op Funeralcare at the address above.
