Yes yes max me ol' buddy

I have know Max for as long as i remember. I'd know him before but properly met him in Primary school, we were in Ms. Staples class, we had a rubber collection and a list of girls we didn't like. We were 7. Since then Max has been an ever-present in my life. We were best friends, brothers, and with Lou, Dash and Owen, inseperable. I have so many of the best memories of Max which i am so thankful to have. Memories of countless summers in the park, playing football against whoever would turn up...we would usually win becuase Max was the best player. Memories of when he broke his arm, jumping off a tree because I was going too slow in front of him, which later, he would laughingly blame me for. Memories of Hampstead School, the ski trip, playing football in the cage round the back and English lessons where he would battle with the teacher, pissing her off and endearing himself to her in equal measure. He did that a lot i think. Memories of travelling before uni with Lou, Dash and O. How any new place would freak him out at first until he realised it was ok and he would start to absoutley love it. He fell in love with these waterfalls in Loas, the Kwang-Si waterfalls, and he seemed completley at peace with them, as though he had found something in them he hadn't found anywhere else he had been. I think his unease in a new place came from an intensly deep appreciation for home, and Queens Park, his friends and family. And he would let you know about it at every opportunity. But what i'll miss the most, is the everyday calls, playing football in the park or just doing nothing at mine or his or Dash's. I'll never stop missing him.

And I can tell you, Isaac, it wasn't only English teachers he did this to. Mums as well, this one anyway.
